Job Description
Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for a part time bookkeeper for our manufacturing client In Rochdale.
This is an ongoing temporary contract with a view to becoming permanent.
This is a 24 hour working week preferably Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8am – 5pm with full flexibility to work alternative days / times should the applicant require. This can be discussed in more detail on the initial telephone screening role.
Rate of pay - £12.00 - £13.50 ph.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Purchase ledger and sales invoices.
Employee related administration tasks.
Manage receipts and invoices.
Manage accounts payable & receivable.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Produce weekly reports for Management.
Ensure accuracy of information held on the computerised payroll system.
Other ad hock administrative/office duties such as filing and data base updates, emailing, faxing.
Competencies & Behaviour required:
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience within a similar role
Confident in using SAGE & Quickbooks
Organisation and planning skills
Interpersonal effectiveness
Numeracy skills
IT skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Attention to detail
