IT Software Manager needed by my growing client. Due to the continued growth of my my client, they are in need of an IT Software Manager. The role will ideally suit someone coming from a 2nd/3rd line software support role, someone that is looking to take their career trajectory along the route that will take them eventually to IT Manager or Director.

* Technical expertise and a broad knowledge of software applications

* Experience in software management, IT project management

* Oversee the management of software licenses, renewals, and ensure the continued relevance of all current software solutions in use

* Scope, source, test and deploy new software solutions to meet the organization’s evolving needs. Ensure smooth integration and alignment with company objectives.

* Ensure that training material is available on all software, both existing and new, to maximize efficiency and proper usage among staff

Work closely with internal teams to assess the organization’s software needs and ensure that the right tools are in place for current and future requirements

* Build and manage strong relationships with software vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable service delivery and cost-effective solutions

* Ensure all software and systems comply with industry standards

* Implement and manage reporting processes to track key metrics such as efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall service performance

* Excellent analytical skills and logical approach to problem solving

* Technical knowledge & project management skills

* Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Strong organisation, planning and time management skills with high attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise to meet timescales and deadlines
