Credit Control Administrator
Worcestershire
Salary: £25,000
The Client
A privately owned company located in the West Midlands and Worcestershire established over 50 years ago and one of the UK’s leading manufacturers in their field. This client is enjoying continued growth and is strengthening their office team with the appointment of a Credit Control Administrator.
The Role
This role requires taking a proactive approach in the administration of managing and collecting debts and will be ideal for an individual who is able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to contribute to the overall efficiency of the Finance Department.
These will include:
1 - Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
2 – Promotion of the company rules and reputation
3 - Daily accountancy administration to include reconciliation of the company bank accounts
4 – Cash flow reporting
5 – General administration duties
6 - Reconciliation of invoices, internal paperwork, production figures and resolving account queries
7 - Evaluate new credit requests, credit ratings to assist in determining whether to allow credit
8 – Setting up new accounts on the company database
9 – Maintaining the company CRM
Skills & Experience Needed:
Previous work experience in Credit Control / Sales Ledger
Proficient in Accounting and Office software
Strong communication skills
Skilled in dealing with problematic clients
Experience in a manufacturing company would be deemed preferable
