ROLE PROFILE:
* Assist with all the health and safety policies
* Carry out, monitor and implement risk assessments
* Consider how to reduce possible risks
* Assist in writing procedures that identify and consider hazards
* Support with data and analysis
* Assist in investigating health and safety incidents, compiling reports, and making recommendations
* Carry out regular safety audits and inspections
* Maintain health and safety compliance and audit results
* Attend H&S meetings, taking minutes
* Keep up to date with new legislation
* Advise employees on a range of specialist areas, such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, safeguarding machinery, etc
PERSON PROFILE:
* Seeking someone with at least one years’ work experience within H&S
* NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Health & Safety
* Excellent communication skills and able to talk to people at all levels
* Must be self-motivated
* Need someone with a positive “can-do" attitude
* Work on your own initiative
* Possess strong planning, time management and organisational skills
* Able to multi-task
* A team player
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Strong attention to detail
DESIRED CRITERIA:
* Experience of working in a manufacturing or construction industry
