Performance Objectives

As a Production Technician, you will provide first response by trouble shooting breakdowns on equipment and jigs with the aim of improving productivity.
You will be responsible for adopting lean principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency and create a culture of continuous improvement.
First response for trouble shooting breakdowns, and issues with jigs and equipment (mechanical bias).
Utilising problem-solving tools and techniques to resolve issues related to safety, quality, cost and delivery.
Assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on automation equipment in a timely manner.
Carrying out method study and work measurement activities to support the team in implementing efficient production processes.
Supporting line layout changes to ensure a safe and methodical way of working.Person Specification

Self-motivated and trustworthy, a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency in executing and completing tasks.
An excellent communicator at all levels with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide regular status reports to keep the supervision and management team well informed.
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to learn new skills and provide support outside core hours to support with operational needs when require.
Well, organised with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
Computer literate with PC skills in Microsoft Office with a focus on using digital platforms.
Able to work flexible hours when required based on operational needs.
Educated to GCSE level with the motivation to undertake further education in an engineering qualification.Apply
