Graduate Naval Architect in Helwith Bridge - CV-Library

Our client, a leading firm in the marine industry, is currently seeking a Graduate Naval Architect to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing effective leadership and coordination of engineering and technical activities.
Utilising a strong understanding of Naval Architecture principles and sound engineering judgement to solve problems.
Breaking down complex tasks and executing planned schedules of work.
Working with the Project Management community to task and manage work conducted by technical teams.
Mentoring others to improve knowledge within engineering and technical communities.
Encouraging increased collaboration across the Group and wider technical teams.
Delivering technical presentations and discussing work knowledgeably in external forums.
Ensuring all work is conducted safely and governance is consistently applied across technical programmes.

Job Requirements:

Understanding of Naval Architecture equivalent to a BEng / MEng in Naval Architecture.
Highly motivated, dynamic with a positive attitude and values of integrity, collaboration, and performance.
Keen desire to develop and grow technical skills and understanding.
Good knowledge of data analysis including experience with programming (Matlab, Python etc.).
Ability to develop alternative strategies to overcome issues and innovate for greater customer value.
Excellent communication skills, both written and presentational, with the ability to exchange complex information.
Good team working, organisation, and attention to detail.
