net Developer 12 month FTC - Remote - CV-Library

We are seeking a highly skilled .net Developer to further develop and support a range of internal software projects for a innovative engineering company. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Developer with knowledge and experience of developing web applications. The role is offered on a 12-month FTC basis with the option of remote or hybrid working from their Head Office in Chesterfield.

Working within a team you help in the development of an internal bespoke system using SQL. Manage the codebase of the existing .NET software, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. Execute testing processes for both new and existing functionalities, collaborating with users to implement and enhance software features. Develop and maintain clean, efficient code in ASP.NET, C#, and MVC framework and be instrumental in front-end development using HTML, jQuery, and CSS to support user interface improvements.

The ideal candidate will be

Degree educated in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

Previous experience of developing web applications.

Excellent coding and testing skills

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

Confident with front-end technologies e.g.  HTML, jQuery, and CSS.

Knowledge of MS Azure platform

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is a 12 month FTC with a pro rata salary of up to £60,000 and is offered on a remote or hybrid basis
