Paralegal - Conveyancing in Leicester - CV-Library

We are looking for a Paralegal to join us in our Conveyancing team at Smith Partnership, a forward-thinking, leading law firm in the Midlands, employing over 200 staff throughout 6 offices.

About Us:

Our dedicated residential property team has years of experience in guiding individuals, couples and families through all aspects of a property transaction.

What you’ll do as Paralegal:

Performing basic conveyancing tasks
Commissioning and interpreting searches
Assisting with property enquiries.

What we’re looking for in a Paralegal:

A degree in Law or a relevant field (LPC qualification is desirable but not essential).
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, particularly within conveyancing would be advantageous.
Strong research and analytical skills with a focus on conveyancing legal issues (desirable).
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
An understanding of the Land Registry portal system together with the ability to lodge SDLT applications in respect of leasehold and freehold transactions would be advantageous
