Job Title: Education Psychologist (temp role until March 2025)

Rate of Pay: PAYE £931.50 / Umbrella/ LTD £1200 per assessment

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist who has 3 years of experience to practice as a contractor.

You will contribute to improving the quality of education provided by maintained schools and academies in Hampshire and the Isle of White for children and young people and especially those with SEN by:

* Providing psychological advice (including stator advice) to SEN services and other officers for children and young people aged 0 – 25.

* Providing psychological advice and support to communities, school, parents, children and young people.

* Contributing to multi – agency support for children and young people.

Responsibilities:

* Act as consultant on psychological matters with parents, carers, teachers, other professionals working with children and young people.

* Work with staff in Education and Inclusion branch in order to contribute to school effectiveness.

* Prepare and maintain writes records.

* You must be able to provide stator advice to LA’s in accordance with the SEN code of practice.

* You must be willing to attend SEN and disability tribunals as required by the LA.

Requirements:

* Must have 3 years of experience to practice as a contractor

* Must have a PHD / Doctorate or master’s in educational psychology - or equivalent.

* Must be able to provide 2 anonymous reports to read with CV submission.

* You will be required to complete four assessments per month with a commitment to work until March 2025.
