Immigration Solicitor - Permanent

Location: Bedford

Salary: Up to £40K + benefits

Office based

We are recruiting for an Immigration Solicitor to join this fantastic team. It's a great opportunity to achieve a better quality of life, leaving the travel to the city behind you. It is a friendly, professional environment where employees are important. The Immigration Solicitor would receive an attractive benefits package and you would report to the Supervising Partner. You should be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and have experience in both business and private immigration. You must have experience working on your caseload and the ability to work to deadlines.

As the Immigration Solicitor you will have various areas of responsibility:

* Visa (Business, Work, Student, Family, Visitors)

* Sponsor license applications.

* Advice on migrant employees

* Settlement in the UK/Indefiniteleav to remain

* Extension Applications

* British citizenship

* Human rights & Asylam

* Deportation and removals

* Subject Access requests

* EEA Applications.

Immigration Solicitor Qualifying Skills and Experience:

* A minimum of 2 years PQE as a solicitor in Immigration Law

* Proven experience of handling own caseload

* Good client care skills, provide professional and competent legal advice following the SRA Code of Conduct

* Strong IT skills

* Effective business development skills with proven marketing strategies.

* Capability of generating fees in accordance

* Good drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
