Legal Administrator
NG1, Nottingham City Centre (No Parking)
£22,000 - £23,500 per annum (DOE)
Full-Time, Permanent (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our client's team in Nottingham City Centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a legal environment, with potential for training and growth. While previous legal experience is preferred, it is not essential; candidates with a strong administrative background are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Processing Legal Aid applications and dealing with amendments.
* Processing invoices in accordance with office procedures.
* Online diary management, to include hearings, filing dates etc.
* Ensuring hearings/ meetings are flagged for allocation.
* Chasing outstanding documents.
* Drafting basic court documents and standard letters.
* Setting up client appointments.
* Liaising with clients, the courts, and other professionals both in person, by email, and by telephone.
* Opening and closing files.
* Taking minutes of meetings.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred, but candidates with solid administrative experience will be considered.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
