Job Description

Our Client has an excellent record of success and growth and is now looking for more people to join their friendly and busy Household Underwriting department.

They are seeking bright individuals with Household experience or Underwriting experience gained from within an Insurer or a Broker.

In addition to your technical Insurance experience, you will have a strong ability to communicate and negotiate, be self-motivated and the ability to use your own initiative in order to provide first class customer service.

Also if you have some general Insurance experience and have always wanted to develop your career in Underwriting, they have the capacity to fully train you to be an Underwriter.

In this role, you'll spend most of your time working closely with the team but also to be able to spend come of your time working from home.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing organisation who also has plans to continue that growth in 2025.

Your main responsibilities as Household Underwriter will include:

Underwrite New and Existing Business profitably and accurately
Maintain and develop Business Relationships with your Brokers
Produce timely and accurate documentation
Share your Underwriting experiences with other team membersTo be successful as a Household Underwriter you will demonstrate:

Experience of working as an Underwriter
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
