Job Description

Title: Forklift Operator / 360 Excavator Operator

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Shifts Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (with additional weekend work)

Salary: Circa £39,000 per annum (including allowance) + 10% Bonus + Overtime Available

The Company:

My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking a 360 excavator / forklift operator with industrial / manufacturing / construction industry or similar environment work experience to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Traffic management & Operating heavy plant
Operating forklift trucks and other machinery as required
Weighbridge operation & Conducting plant checks
Managing Tipping Hall operations
Assist with all shutdown activities within the plant, ensuring plant downtime is minimized; carry out front line maintenance to maintain plant availability.
Operate weighbridges (including automated systems), weigh vehicles, and complete tickets as required.
Report any potential safety issues and control hazards as required.
Carry out risk assessments to ensure activities are completed safely at all times.
Carry out regular housekeeping to ensure a high standard of site cleanliness.

Requirements:

Expertise in operating mobile equipment
Certification in lifting/slinging or forklift truck (FLT) operation
Hold a valid 360 excavator licence or loading shovel ticket.
Knowledge of safe work systems, work permits, procedures, risk assessments, and relevant safety documentation
Capacity to think critically and effectively resolve problems efficiently
