Pay: £140.86 - £230 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: 8am – 4pm, Full-time

Supply Desk is working with a Secondary school in Southampton, seeking a dedicated English teacher to join their team. This role involves teaching all aspects of English, with occasional general cover, and includes allocated time for planning and marking. The school is looking for a candidate with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a positive, relationship-building approach. The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a committed and collaborative team player
Have a proven track record of improving student attainment
Be confident and adaptable in different classroom environments
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Have the ability to engage students in English, making lessons fun and relatable
Hold a current valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
Be comfortable teaching Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils
