Multi-Trade Operative

(Preferred trade: Carpentry or Brickwork, but not essential)

Job Details:

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire, Devizes & Southwest
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (up to £40,000 OTE)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to work across Wiltshire & the Southwest. You'll need skills in areas such as carpentry, painting, gutter/fascia renewal, and small groundworks (e.g., fencing, slab and path laying). You must work independently or in a team, completing tasks in a single visit.

Responsibilities:

Complete scheduled jobs, travel to sites as needed
Perform high-quality repairs, maintenance, and small projects
Ensure health and safety compliance
Deliver excellent customer service
Report job progress in real-time

Requirements:

Qualifications (preferred): NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience
Friendly, professional, good communicator, team player
Able to work independently and efficiently, adaptable to change

What We Offer:

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (up to £40,000 OTE)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Holidays: 21 days + bank holidays
