Business Development Manager - Service Contracts
Area: Scotland
The Role of Business Development Manager
* This is a field / home based role.
* As Business Development Manager you will be tasked with targeting predominantly commercial and multi-site industrial and manufacturing organisations in and around the Central Belt of Scotland.
* The successful Business Development Manager will target mid- to large sized customers selling sustainable (needed) solutions / service contracts to businesses.
* Average order values are £30k-£40k.
* There will also be some responsibility for managing larger strategic accounts.
* Key aspects of the role will include self-generating appointments, following internal leads, building a pipeline and negotiating.
* The Business Development Manager will talk to stakeholders and decision makers at all levels including Procurement Managers, Sustainability Managers Warehouse Managers, and MD's.
* The incoming Business Development Manager will inherit a strong pipeline.

The Candidate - Business Development Manager
* We are looking for a field sales candidate with a new business personality that has a track record of developing new business and managing accounts. You will need to have won large multi-site business and dealt with decision makers at all levels.
* Candidates that have sold service contracts such as, washrooms, hygiene services, waste, data management, security contracts, office supplies, soft facilities management services will be of particular interest.
* We are also keen to talk to those that have sold into manufacturing and industrial companies.
* Other new business field sales candidates are also encouraged to apply.
The Package on offer for the Business Development Manager
* £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
* Uncapped OTE paid monthly circa £20k in year one
* Company car or car allowance
* Pension
* 26 days holiday plus stats
