Do you have Facilities Maintenance experience and are you immediately available for new roles? We have a new exciting role with a Recreational Facility client based close to Leigh. The role offers a salary of up to GBP27,000 DOE with lots of benefits including free parking, pension scheme, 20 days holiday + bank holidays.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Assistant?

Working alongside a Facilities Manager and Asst FM
Assist in the overall management of plant and equipment of the facilities and general upkeep
Assist in the planned preventative maintenance programmes for the facilities.
Ensure day to day operational efficiency of all plant and equipment (eg generators, HVAC equip etc)
To assist on a match/event day to ensure services and facilities operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
To assist with the preparation, implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly and annual maintenance programmes
Ensure the correct storage and control of all consumable materials, equipment and services in accordance with Company procedures.
Ensure that all method statements and safe working practices are complied with.
Ensure that resources are used efficiently.
Ensure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescales.We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Experience of both mechanical and electrical maintenance (as well as a things like joinery, fixing a door, fixing a toilet) in a similar maintenance role
Good communication skills.
Experience of PPM maintenance would be beneficial
Awareness of relevant health and safety legislation
Formal trade qualification
First Aid at Work Certificate
Manual Handling training

Monday to Friday on shift pattern around core hours
Competitive salary of GBP26,000-GBP27,000DOE
