Data and Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Ashington or Durham

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week, Mon-Fri.

Salary: £35K - £38K depending on experience

Closing Date: Friday 20th September 2024, 5pm.

Are you passionate about data and business Intelligence? Do you enjoy collaborating with colleagues to support data warehouse infrastructure that enables teams to gain insight into customers and operations?

If so, then our new Data and Business Intelligence Analyst post is for you!

About the role:

* Assist in the maintenance of the data warehouse architecture.

* Learn and apply data warehousing best practices and standards.

* Help build interfaces between key business systems as needed.

* Aid in optimising ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficiency and reliability.

* Write and maintain documentation related to the data warehouse processes and architecture.

About you:

You’ll need:

* an understanding of data warehouse management, architecture and maintenance

* knowledge of SQL databases and programming

* some experience in data manipulation, data cleansing and transferring data between systems.

* good interpersonal skills to understand staff requirements and translate these into appropriate outputs.

* strong analytical skills and attention to detail

* good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* organisational and documentation skills.
