Job Description

Human Resources Assistant

When registering to this job board you will be redirected to the online application form. Please ensure that this is completed in full in order that your application can be reviewed.

At Nescot we are recruiting for a Part time Human Resources Assistant to become an integral part of our small friendly team.

Hours are negotiable; however, you must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week preferably over five days, four days would be considered but working days must include Monday and Friday. Hours will need to be worked on site, all year round, but we can be flexible with the hours.

You will have the opportunity for staff development including Mental Health First Aider training should you so wish.

What we are looking for:

* Professional approach and ability to communicate with staff at all levels.

* Great work ethic.

* Super administration skills and attention to detail.

* Good IT skills and ability to support staff through self-service systems

You will be mainly dealing with the HR database systems and other HR work so must be very flexible and take a real pride in your work. Accuracy, great attention to detail and super administration skills are essential, as is a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude so that you can provide a good service to our staff.

We welcome all types of applicants from university/college leaver to a returner to work after children to someone already experienced in administration but wanting a change. No previous work experience in Human Resources is required but we are looking for someone enthusiastic about the work we do.

At Nescot, we’re proud of our inclusive culture and we encourage applications from all.

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”

At Nescot, we’re proud of our inclusive culture and we welcome all applications.

This role is employed through Nescot Enterprises Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nescot which operates different terms and conditions.

Closing date is Sunday 15 September 2024

Interviews will be arranged as and when applications received, therefore the closing date may be revised.24,147
