Rate: £37-£45 per hour

We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield Ltd under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) initiative-a pioneering 20-year collaboration designed to deliver £7 billion worth of major projects, site-wide improvements, and supporting services. Our mission is to create a clean and safe environment for future generations by delivering nationally significant infrastructure projects to the Sellafield site as quickly and safely as possible.
The Opportunity:
Due to our growing portfolio of projects, we are seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our team in Birchwood, Warrington. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that drives change and fosters innovation in engineering, safety, and delivery solutions at one of the world's most complex industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and check modeling and drawing outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Participate in regular model reviews and space management meetings, representing the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&A) discipline and presenting your model.
Collaborate closely with CS&A Engineers, Architects, and modelers from other disciplines to coordinate the development of models.
Work with CS&A Engineers and Architects on specifications, with a preference for those experienced in using NBS Chorus.
Fulfill the Designer role under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).What We're Looking For:
Proven experience using Revit, Civils 3D, AutoCAD 2D, and Autodesk Design Review to produce general arrangement (GA) and detailed drawings within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
Familiarity with British and European Standards, Building Regulations, and the methodologies required for detailing structural elements.
Experience in detailing below-ground drainage and services, groundworks, steelwork, and reinforced concrete.
A solid working knowledge of CDM regulations.Why Join Us?
