Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Town Planning Manager to join the team and lead the planning and regulatory aspects of our Lincolnshire Renewables project. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our renewable energy projects are developed in compliance with local planning regulations, while also aligning with our environmental and community engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Regulatory Compliance: Lead the planning process for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, regional, and national planning regulations and policies.
Site Identification and Assessment: Collaborate with the development team to identify and assess potential sites for renewable energy projects, taking into account zoning, environmental, and community considerations.
Liaison with Local Authorities: Act as the primary point of contact with local planning authorities, ensuring timely submission of planning applications, negotiating planning conditions, and addressing any issues that arise during the approval process.
Environmental and Community Impact: Work closely with environmental consultants and community relations teams to minimize the impact of projects on local ecosystems and to engage effectively with local communities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including local government officials, community groups, and landowners, to build strong relationships and secure support for projects.Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background: A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Management, or a related field is required. A master's degree or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RTPI) is highly desirable.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in town planning, with a strong background in renewable energy projects or large-scale infrastructure developments.Interested?
