Main purpose of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join our Technical Team in our newly refurbished offices at Lakeside in Doncaster. This role is to support our successful Yorkshire East region, who have a robust and secure plan for future developments.

The main purpose of the Planning Manager role is to coordinate Planning Applications Packages in line with business delivery. They will also facilitate starts on site through coordinating and discharging planning conditions.

The Planner will maintain document control and develop planning status reports, and other general tasks related planning applications in line with internal systems and procedures. They will research planning designations and history in order to undertake basic site assessment and evaluations in accordance with industry best practice guidelines.

Education and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience within a similar role in the housebuilding/construction industry. Due to the nature of the role, site visits throughout the region will be required and the postholder will be able to work flexibly in order to do so. A company car or car allowance will be provided.
