Textile Machine Operative in Holmfirth - CV-Library

XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for people to join them at a large manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. This opportunity offers the potential of long term employment they are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to become a key part of their manufacturing departments. Due to the locality of this job role and the timing of shift pattern we would require candidates to drive and have access to their own vehicle.

We are on the hunt for an experienced textile machine operative that can operate an industrial stenter and or de-twister. You would be responsible for the drying of produced fabrics and ensuring all of the fabric is neatly put into carts to send down the production line. Working hours: Rotating Double day shifts (40 per week)

Week 1: 6-2

Week 2: 2-10

Responsibilities:

Operation of different types of machinery

*

To understand their operating procedures

*

Moving stock around to different areas of the factory

*

Ensure walkways and access points are clear from any storage

*

Follow procedures for different product qualities

*

Ensure equipment is moved to inspection

Preferred Skills/ Experience:

*

Previous experience working in a textiles manufacturing environment

*

Must have good hand eye coordination

*

Have good organizational skills
