Job Description

An opportunity to be involved in one of the UK’s largest Civil Engineering projects, Hinkley Point C, without actually having to work at Hinkley Point C. Our client, a top 10 construction company in the UK, is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Bristol to assist in the delivery of a major Marine/Civil Engineering package of work. As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
* Monitor subcontract activities, measure and respond appropriately
* Analyse rates & prices, agreement of variations and or compensation events as required
* Prepare, submits and negotiates claims when required
* Analyse the commercial progress and report to senior project staff
Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:
* Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Experience of working for a tier one Civil Engineering contractor.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience of pre-construction
* A good knowledge of NEC form of contracts.
Salary and benefits include:
* £55,000 - £67,000 per annum
* Benefits package including company car, paid annual leave, company pension scheme etc
