Job Description

A globally recognised high volume manufacturerare currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Robot Programmer. Spend time off site with relevant supplier to support programmes (example new launches) Help manage and develop programs throughout build phases Work with the suppliers on the design and maturation of automated equipment Assist with design reviews of production and help steer design for manufacture Contacts interface with (internal/external) all customers and suppliers at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team player with a high level of personal integrity Assess quality of product against standard Assist with the development of PFMEAs, control plans and SOIs Generation of TPM Back up and maintenance of programs Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve control issues and/or respond to problemsWorking from theirfacility in Warwickshire, the Robot Programmer will have the following: Degree in Mechatronics / Automation / Robotics desirable Minimum of 5 years experience working in Robotics Experience in Nachi robotic programming desirable but any make considered as training will also be given Experience of AIVs advantageous (MIR, Omron) Understanding of off line programming techniques and software Experience with interior plastics trim advantageous ISO9001 / IATF16949 Understanding of Six sigma / Lean methodologies Computer literate with MS Project Auto CAD advantageousIf you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of Permanent, Interim and Project Management Recruitment Solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors.JBRP1_UKTJ
