Assistant Project Manager

Slough

18 month Fixed Term Contract (up to end of 2025)

KP Snacks are working with Intersnack Group (their parent company) to run a transformational project to centralise processes and systems. We need an Assistant Project Manager, a specialist in their area, to be an integral part of the project team to own the administration needs of the project and assist the Programme/Change manager in governance of the project.

As Assistant Project Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

* Plan and schedule meetings for the project, Work Stream Leads and project managers, according to project timelines and standard governance procedures

* Chair designated regular project meetings and stand in for Project Manager or Change Manager

* Produce and communicate clear outputs and requirements for all direct and indirect project members

* Maintain the task and issue logs for the project and challenge team members on quality and timely responses to tasks and dependencies across the project

* Be a single point of contact for project risks and issues and work through the mitigations with project members and understand the level at which to escalate

* Assist in the communications and change management process

* Assist the Test Manager and WSL's to create and implement testing plans

* Assist the Change Manager and WSL's to create and implement training

* Update project plans when changes get signed off by managers and leaders

* Design, implement and take ownership for all project reporting

* Ensure or assist to create project resources such as the right process maps and documents to complete for each project stage for all functions

* Organising project logistics (supporting mass meetings, accommodation and travel arrangements)

* Managing project administration (Holiday planners, Teams/Sharepoint access (starters/leavers), new joiners induction pack (creation and delivery, etc))

Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
