Level 3 Vehicle Technician - 4 day working week!

Shift Pattern: 4-day week - either Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

Hours: 06:00 – 18:00

Competitive salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per annum (Overtime paid at time and a half)

Igloo is proud to be recruiting for Level 3 Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established, family-owned business in Avonmouth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of the largest independent used dealership in the South-West, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role:

As a Level 3 Vehicle Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation centre, undertaking a variety of tasks including fault diagnosis, servicing, engine rebuilds, and diagnostics on a diverse range of cars. Your responsibilities will include:

* Conducting fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, fuel systems, etc.

* Performing servicing and repairs on all makes and models of cars.

* Collaborating with the parts team and pre-delivery techs to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles through the site to the customer.

* Identifying potential hazards and maintaining the condition of tools and machinery.

* Adhering to high standards of health and safety.

Essential Qualities and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

* Hold a Level 3 relevant qualification, such as light vehicle maintenance and repairs.

* Possess a current full UK driving licence.

* Own a stocked toolbox to facilitate efficient and effective repairs.

* Be available to work on a rota basis, including Saturdays.

* Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.

* Work well within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
