The Role Includes
* Undertaking structured review of skills and performance across all technicians disciplines.
* Continual review and audit of technicians working practices, ethics, customer skills and communication.
* Preparation of individual training plans based on development needs.
* Developing a robust programme of Toolbox Talks & Lessons Learned.
* Regular site based audits within a defined region.
* PPE, plant, equipment, vehicle, & stock checks.
* HSQE audits to include training and understanding of RAMS and safe working practices.
* Maintaining and enhancing communication across multiple office locations.
* General regional office based assistance where required.
* General estimating assistance where required.
* Technical support with customer / site escalations.
* Attending training sessions and then cascading content to technicians (Train the Trainer qualification beneficial).
* Research, review and propose any other training that could add value to the team. • Review of technicians performance and focus areas.
* IT support / training relating to tablet PC applications, mobile solutions and customer interfaces.
* 1st level escalation responsibility for out of hours on-call activity on a rota basis (UK nationwide).
Your Profile
* Significant experience as an Automatic Door Technician
* A full UK driving licence with flexibility to working hours due to requirement to travel. Ideally based within 1 hour of the Newcastle office.
* Experience in training, supporting and mentoring technicians.
* Positive, professional attitude with the ability to understand and disseminate technical information clearly and effectively.
* Ability to work without supervision and use initiative at all times.
* Excellent communication skills
