My client, a fantastic reputable business in Aylesbury are recruiting for a Technical Account Manager
Due to the continuing expansion of their business, they have a vacancy for an passionate Technical Account Manager. The successful candidate will be supported by extensive training and enthusiastic colleagues. There is great scope for personal and professional development within this role.
To begin with this will be office based but will move to some field based work longer term!
Car park on site!
Working Hours : 9-17:30 Monday-Thursday – 9-17:00 on Friday
Job Duties:
- Developing strong technical understanding of our wide range of Personal Care ingredients, their chemistry, benefits and formulation characteristics.
- Understanding the needs of each of our customers.
- Communicating scientific information clearly and concisely.
- Supporting customers throughout their development process, from concept to product launch.
- Visiting UK customers to develop long-term working relationships with their R&D, Purchasing and Marketing teams.
- Maintaining existing business and creating new opportunities with customers in your portfolio
- Helping our Technical Development Chemists to create new Personal Care formulations that demonstrate the benefits of our products.
- Attending relevant Cosmetic and Toiletry industry meetings, seminars, exhibitions and symposia to increase knowledge of the Personal Care industry.
Ideal candidate
- A strong scientific education and preferably a degree in a scientific subject
- The ability to learn and understand new technologies
- A scientific approach to problem solving
- The ability to work under pressure
