My client based on the outskirts of High Wycombe are currently recruiting for a permanent Internal Sales/Sales administrator.

Hours: 8:30/17:00 - 9:00 - 17:30 - Monday to Friday

Key Task & Job Description

  • Order management from order receipt through to invoicing (pre-sales), including order input, liaison with customer to ensure customer requirements are understood, liaison with corporate headquarters to clarify availability and transport issues.
  • Prepare and design technical quotations
  • Provide technical assistance to incoming telephone calls and deal with all technical requests.
  • Assist customer service team to provide technical support for any pre & post-sales product-related issues.
  • Fully involved in the daily activities of the sales support function.
  • Management of customer queries/complaints (post –sales) regards delivery, technical concerns, invoicing issues etc., to a satisfactory solution for both parties
  • Contact existing Customers to develop and build relationships to increase Customer spend
  • Provide training & technical support regards product operation and installation, to customers.
  • Grow and maintain the existing CRM database
  • Implementation of promotional activity in collaboration with Sales Manager.
  • Actively contribute to increasing the product mix sold within the UK by providing technical office based support to the sales team and customers
  • Liaising with our Head Office regarding the development of new products and the associated supported technical content.
  • Develop & innovate Point of Sale material with Indirect Sales Manager.
  • Evaluating competitor activity and conduct benchmarking on pricing and to include technical benchmarking on performance and positioning of our products.
  • Actively find new ways of promoting Hensel products to strengthen the brand on social media and conduct mailshots (technical/specific or generic) using selected social media applications
  • Manage Social Media such as LinkedIn, Twitter to promote the brand and case studies of product application. Work with Germany on the content of the company's website (news items, technical content
  • Co-ordinate all marketing activity for the Company and execute Company’s marketing Plan.
  • Assist in exhibitions and trade fairs.
  • Some travel to visit customers as and when necessary.          

Ideal Candidate:                     

  • Internal Sales Experience with strong Technical Background
  •  Enthusiastic, proactive and organised individual with good use of initiative.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience of working with Electrical Contractors and wholesalers would be an advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non- technical clients.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication
  • Effective time management and project management skills with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands. Computer literate and conversant in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Teamwork & Flexibility.. 
  • Understanding and knowledge of social media.
