Are you an PA who has experience at Executive level?

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic PA to work in a school in NE London to start ASAP

The  is temporary assignment (but could be permanent for the right PA).

The primary aim of the role to act as Personal Assistant to  both the Executive and the Associate Head Teacher.

Duties will include many of the following duties and responsibilities:

To ensure a high standard of administrative and management support, in order to assist in the smooth running of all his/her activities, working under their supervision but expected to exercise considerable initiative in performing delegated duties, seeking the necessary advice, where appropriate.

Manage the appointments diary and travel arrangements of the Headteacher, keeping them informed of all forthcoming visits and important diary dates. Including arranging and coordinating travel and accommodation, where necessary.

To respond to/action Parent/Carer and other external stakeholder queries – especially in the absence of the Headteacher and decide how to screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests and handle them or delegate to others as appropriate, using discretion in providing information both within and outside the School.

Coordinate, produce agendas and take minutes at key meetings, and produce accurate written records for distribution.

Assist in the production and formatting of accurate and high quality School Publications, Policy Documents, Briefing Papers, Reports, Training Material, Presentations etc, as required [e.g. the Weekly Bulletin to all staff, Staff Handbook and the whole School Academic Calendar].

To welcome and look after external visitors on behalf of the Headteacher and ensure refreshments are available.

To respond to/action emails, correspondence and writing letters and taking dictation and minutes.

Maintain accurate files and reference systems, including archives and current key contact names and addresses.

To alert the Headteacher well in advance of approaching issues and/or events.

An enhanced DBs will be completed on the successful candidate unless a DBS Subscribed to the update services can be produced
