About the role

An exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growth team, with scope for progression. We are looking for an experienced Manager to join the Employer Solutions Group tax team. The ideal candidate will have specialist experience in expatriate tax and international social security and will understand the complexities of dealing with a range of clients in both large and small organisations enabling them to deliver a first-class service. Experience of domestic employment tax compliance (P11Ds, PSAs etc) will be an advantage.

  • Ability to actively work across a number of clients, ensuring a high standard of client service is provided to all.
  • Support the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach taken.
  • Run the UK tax and social security compliance programs across a client portfolio ( tax returns, payroll, tax briefings, social security compliance), ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Globally coordinate UK headquartered global mobility programmes
  • Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service.
  • Responsible for day-to-day delivery of client liaison and management of expectations.
  • Key member of one of the client service groups providing full tax services to a client portfolio.
  • Contribute to winning new work both new from old and new from new.
  • Day to day financial management of running a client portfolio.

About the ideal candidate

  • ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in UK expatriate tax, international social security and modified payrolls.
  • An ability to explain highly technical and complex matters in a way that can be clearly understood by non tax specialists.
  • Strong organisation skills demonstrated through good project management , with evidence of ability to plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines and monitor own budget.
  • Good risk awareness with the ability to carry out effective reviews and know when to refer upwards.
  • A highly motivated person who follows through.
  • Client focused and commercially aware with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
  • Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly and build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to coach and motivate others.
