We are recruiting for a well-known organisation which specialises in the rehabilitation of people who do not have suitable accommodation for the term of their licence or bail order. Their services cover a range of vulnerable people, including the homeless, young people, prison leavers and women.
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced housing officer who will join their Housing Support team in the Lincoln and Gainsborough area. You will need to be able to help service users with applying for Housing Benefits and paying rent etc.
All of our properties require us to meet the Decent Homes Standard and to do that you will need a sharp pair of eyes to ensure that our houses are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned.
This role is a full-time role with working hours of around 8 hours per day; shift patterns and flexibility will be discussed during the interview stage.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in Housing Support, specifically within secured/supported accommodation.
In addition to this, you will need to be able to demonstrate resilience, emotional intelligence, teamwork and prioritisation skills.
This role requires drivers who have access to their own vehicle with business insurance.
What you'll get in return
This role is a long-term temporary position with the opportunity to apply for permanent roles in the future. You will also receive weekly pay at a rate of £15.38 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.
