Job Opportunity for Reach Truck Driver (Day Shift) - NO LICENCE OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Reach Truck Drivers to join our client fast-paced Coldstore Department at our Newmarket depot. This role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their skills in warehouse operations within a supportive team environment.

Position Overview:

Position: Reach Truck Driver

Location: Newmarket

Type: Temp-Perm opportunity, Full-Time ongoing

Shift Options: Monday to Friday – 9-hour shifts, or 7 on, 7 off Day Shift – 12-hour shifts (06:00 – 18:00)

Competitive pay: £12.40 per hour (plus £0.60 per hour premium for 7 on, 7 off shift only), plus holiday accrual paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating a Heated Reach Truck in frozen storage areas (-18°C)

* Stacking and unstacking pallets on mobile racking with maximum heights of 14m (45’)

* Logging stock locations and confirming orders for dispatch using a warehouse management system

* Assisting with the flow of customers’ products in and out of the supply chain

* Picking stock and assembling pallets of multiple products as needed

* Completing relevant paperwork and documentation

* Maintaining high standards of tidiness and adhering to Health & Safety legislation

Requirements:

* Prior experience as a Reach Truck Driver or similar role is advantageous, but not required

* Familiarity with MHE is beneficial; however, full training will be provided

* Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative

* Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards
