Primary Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking to appoint Supply Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Cornwall. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting local schools in delivering an engaging and inspiring curriculum to children and young people who have a range of special needs.

The Role

Each day will be different, you will provide cover as required across the school in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2.

Some days you will be required to deliver 121 support for children with SEN so experience in this area would be beneficial.

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, term time only.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience in supporting children with SEN would be benefical
A kind and positive attitute with a genuine passion for working with children
MUST be able to commit to 3 - 5 days per week. Monday - Friday, term time only
An enhanced DBS registered on the update servie (or be happy to apply for one)
