Your Role
As an Associate Software Engineer at TfGM, you’ll be a key player in developing and maintaining solutions that improve how our city moves. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll contribute to various projects, from the design phase through to deployment, with a focus on ensuring reliability, scalability, and a great user experience. You’ll have the chance to grow your technical skills in a supportive, hands-on role that encourages continuous learning.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll bring your skills and enthusiasm for learning to the team. Key skills and experience include:

Basic knowledge of ReactJS, Typescript, HTML, CSS
*
Familiarity with Git for source code management
*
An understanding of cloud-native development (AWS Lambda is a plus)
*
Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions
*
Some exposure to databases like DynamoDB, MySQL, or Redis
*
Experience working in an Agile development environment or eagerness to learn

The role is a permanent position within an experienced and supported team working across TfGM, with a salary of £33,955 - £38,723 per annum depending on skills and experience.
