Job Description
We are seeking a Client Services Team Leader to join our SSAS team. Our SSAS business area offers professional services to around 1,700 Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS) and 130 Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefits Schemes (FURBS), including trusteeship, consultancy and administration.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to be part of a small team leader group, each managing a client team within the SSAS Business Area. The role can be based in our Liverpool, Leeds or Amersham offices working on a hybrid basis.
A snapshot of your day:
* Manage a team of up to 12 people, including handling personal team requirements.
* Oversee and manage team workload ensuring that team members are performing effectively.
* Identify Skills Gaps and schedule relevant coaching and training.
* Work with colleagues to optimise the service delivered to our client portfolio with regard to quality of work, turnaround times and value for money.
* Oversee, review and approve effective resource planning to meet activity demand on a weekly basis.
* Hold monthly one-to-ones, mid-year and annual reviews; to agree annual personal development plans and provide constructive feedback to further these aims.
* Manage and effectively own the SSAS Complaints Management Procedure.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience as a Team Leader within the Finance Services industry is essential.
* Knowledge of the following pension vehicles is desirable but not essential: SSASs, SIPPs and FURBS.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is desirable, strong IT skills essential.
* GCSE Maths/English at Grade C/5 or National 5 Maths/English at Grade C or Equivalent is essential.
