Support Worker & Waking night staff– Children’s Home

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent & Part time vacancies

This is an opportunity to join a young dynamic company who are opening a Children’s Home 6 miles north of Bognor Regis in West Sussex.

You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager on shift to ensure the highest quality of care.
The successful applicant will be able to evidence and demonstrate sound knowledge of operational legislation, including Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Whistle Blowing.
The role requires that those successful in their application will work directly with Children as well as ensuring that you work in line with Care Plans, ensuring successful outcomes.
Part of the role is to also support the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in running the home daily.
You will be required to undertake key working tasks, attend statutory reviews, and prepare reports and to always safeguard Children.
This role requires the commitment to work shifts, including Bank Holidays, Weekends, Evenings. Sleep in duties will be required.
The successful applicant must hold Level 2 / 3 Working with Children and Young People and have at least 2 years’ experience of working with young people.

Full on-going training will be provided by the Company. Career progression will be encouraged.
