Role: Air Export Operator
Location: Newcastle, Tyne and Wear (Hybrid)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for completion of Air Freight Operations (Pred Exports) from Start to Finish

* Quoting and Pricing, ensuring best rates are secured

* Liaising with shippers, hauliers, carriers

* Key account management - responsible for managing accounts from booking to deliveries

* Arranging for the timely and accurate documentation of shipments

* Completing custom documentations

* Creating and maintaining strong relationship with clients, ensuring all inquires are dealt with

Requirements:

* 2+ years experience working with a leading freight forwarder

* Export experience is mandatory

* Ocean Freight experience would be advantageous

* Awareness of all aspects of shipment process from Start to Finish

* Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available

* Able to reach all deadlines within the time constraints provided

* Confident and effective communication skills (verbal and via email), with the ability to build relationships with customers
