Junior Accounts Assistant in Warrington - CV-Library

We are really excited to be partnering with a well known retail brand to support with the recruitment of a junior finance position - Junior Accounts Assistant!

This business have recently had an internal restructure and as a result they have had an increase in work load in their team, they are ideally looking to bring someone in on a temporary basis for roughly 2-3 months, potentially longer, to support the finance team.

This role is looking for someone who is looking to gain experience in finance who would be able to support with processing invoices, supplier statement reconciliations, bank reconciliations, using finance portals, liaising with suppliers and internal senior finance members and a range of other tasks if you are interested to learn!

What makes this role so exciting is that the business are open minded to the idea of bringing someone in with little to no experience, the key thing for them is someone with an eager attitude to learn as much as possible and to make the most of this exciting job opportunity! However if you have any experience, from a placement year or work experience this would be preferred.

Key responsibilities:

Processing invoices on a daily basis.
Uploading invoices to internal finance portals.
Ensuring invoices are approved before processing for payment runs.
Preparing for payment runs.
Completing supplier statement reconciliations.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Setting up new suppliers.
Other ad-hoc finance tasks.Candidate Attributes and Skills:

Relevant qualification or currently studying such as a degree or AAT.
Have an eager attitude to learn and to make the most of this amazing opportunity.
Be strong on Microsoft excel.
Be a good communicator and confident to liaise with colleagues internally and suppliers externally.
Ideally have had exposure to finance tasks from a placement year or work experience, although this is not essential.Benefits:
