Import / Export Coordinator, High Wycombe: A leading food solutions provider seeks an organised and detail-oriented Import & Export Coordinator to manage international shipments, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and optimise logistics. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment dedicated to innovation and high-quality service delivery.
Coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
Good knowledge of InCo Terms, Commodity Codes and dealing with HMRC is essential
Prepare and review import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates.
Monitor and track shipments, liaising with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents.
Resolve shipping discrepancies or delays efficiently and professionally.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tariffs and duty management.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics and supply chain processes.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation.
Identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve shipping timelines.
Profile
Good knowledge of InCo Terms, Commodity Codes and dealing with HMRC is essential
Proven experience in import/export operations, logistics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with global stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems (Ideally SAP) and MS Office.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
Understanding of sustainability and cost-efficiency in logistics is advantageous.
Job Offer
Salary of circa £30,000 - £35,000 plus excellent package
