Junior Principal Designer
Location: Swindon (Hybrid/Remote after probation)
Salary: £42,000–£52,000 per annum

Are you a detail orientated person with a willingness to learn and a keen interest in health and safety. Are you ready to take your career to the next level? The Safety Department Ltd is growing fast and is looking for a Junor Principal Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for an excellent communicator with a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification and a desire to develop skills and knowledge in construction design and risk management.

What You’ll Do:

* Assist with pre-construction information gathering and stakeholder communication.

* Review construction phase plans and contribute to design risk registers.

* Support the Principal Design Team with high-quality document production as part of the Building Safety Act’s "golden thread."

What We’re Looking For:

* NEBOSH / IOSH certification and a foundational understanding of CDM 2015.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe tools.

* Excellent communication and administrative skills.

* A full, clean driving license and willingness to travel occasionally for site visits.

* Someone with a keen eye for detail who has already spotted the spelling mistake in this advertisement
