Business Development Manager - South - Up to £45,000 plus commission for lifetime of account !

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our client who are the fastest growing freight forwarder who operate across the whole of UK and have 18 UK sites.

Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of the business by sourcing new regular trading and profitable freight customers, as well looking after existing business

Benefits

Guaranteed salary 35,000 - 45,000

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a sales role within a freight forwarding/logistics organisation is essential with a proven track record of success in freight sales
Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong negotiation skills
The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone/in person with a range of people
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
The ability to keep self-motivated
High attention to detail
Accountability to yourself and others
Analytical and ambitious
High IT literacy skills
