Location: Home-based with UK site-based assignments
Salary: Up to £62,500 (DOE) + £4,000 car allowance + benefits

Toro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer on behalf of a leading client in the renewable energy and power sectors. Key Responsibilities:

* Lead mechanical engineering projects, ensuring delivery within timelines and budgets.

* Develop and manage mechanical system designs, including structural steel and process pipework.

* Mentor junior engineers, fostering team growth and technical excellence.

* Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical codes, and industry regulations.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective engineering solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or equivalent); Chartered Engineer status preferred.

* A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial mechanical engineering.

* Expertise in mechanical design and fabrication, particularly in structural steel and process pipework.

* Proficiency in ASME B31.3 and global standards for pressure systems, lifting equipment, and storage tanks.

* Strong skills in P&IDs, CAD software, and Microsoft Office tools.
