Job Title: B2 Licensed Engineer
Location: Oxford, UK
Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)
Clearance: BPSS clearance to start, SC clearance to be obtained post-start

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join a globally renowned Aviation Organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge helicopter technology, including the H135 and H145 rotorcraft. As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the certification of line and non-routine maintenance, ensuring the continued airworthiness and operational safety of these advanced aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert engineering support to Flight Operations, ensuring smooth and safe mission execution.

* Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs as directed by the LAE Supervisor.

* Lead a team of engineers to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance in aircraft operations.

* Perform maintenance on a wide range of aircraft systems, with a focus on avionic and electrical systems.

* Replace and test avionic line replaceable units (LRUs) to confirm serviceability and airworthiness.

* Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

* Undertake off-aircraft technical work on avionic and electrical systems.

Requirements:

* Proven experience and expertise in helicopter avionic and electrical systems, with hands-on maintenance and repair experience.

* Strong understanding of specialized test equipment for avionic and electrical systems.

* In-depth knowledge of CAA regulations, including Pt 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).

* Familiarity with Flight and Airport Operations, including line maintenance procedures.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain high safety standards.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

* Knowledge of UK Military Aviation standards and experience with the UK MFTS (Military Flying Training System).

* Previous experience working with SAP and ERP software.
