Role Overview:

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences? Join our client support team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining customer relationships and assisting with VAT-related services. This role involves administrative duties, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth operations within the VAT department.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify handovers from the sales team to ensure clients are placed on the correct VAT scheme.
Follow up with internal teams or clients to obtain missing information for applications
Complete VAT applications via the HMRC website
Process client's business expenses and include them in VAT returns
Create weekly and monthly management reports
Set up direct debits to HMRC
Perform general administration, including maintaining digital customer records and managing departmental ticketing systems

Experience Ideally Required for This Role:

Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an office setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Proactive, resilient, and flexible, with a target-driven mindset
IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Previous experience working with HMRC is an advantage
