Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working for a growing business who work with well know brands, and create amazing products with their partners. We are looking for a Product Developer to join the team in Ferndown.

The successful Product Developer would be working with a fantastic team of like-minded people, working on a project basis and using their creative flair to create new and innovative products.

Product Developer Duties & Responsibilities:

* Project Management - Accountability for managing projects that deliver high-quality products for customers, on time and within budget

* Manage all your customer briefs ensuring the teams have detailed briefs and accurate information required for delivering proposals/ tenders and orders

* Work with the product team on roadmap development for your customer

* Supplier Management – Understand costs and see if they can buy better, not being afraid to ask for help to find savings

* Communication and cost negotiation with customers and suppliers

* Work with the brilliant compliance and operations teams to ensure you work with validated production facilities

* Review any potential cost increases after order confirmation to see if these can be avoided before being raised to an Account Manager

* Process Management and regular critical path related meetings with colleagues

* Communication and Stakeholder Management - Hold necessary meetings as well as make time for others to discuss workload/orders/issues in detail

* Team and Workload Management - Manage your own projects through the E2E process, time management, initiative & taking total ownership of the customer brief

* Help to save workload from the Team Leader by being the go-to person for your team for escalations/challenges

Knowledge & Experience

* Product development or product management experience

* Creative with an eye for detail

* Excellent communication

* Able to manage workload
