Learning Support Lead
Permanent role
Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Crewe – willing to travel to other locations as part of the role and some days are hybrid from home

DUTIES
* Working with young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
* Oversee a caseload of learners
* Oversee the EHCP provision, ensuring all learners receive the support they need to progress and achieve
* Support the development and implementation of the SEND strategy
* To develop and maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, research, and developments within the field of SEND
* Record keeping
* To provide support, guidance, coaching and training to staff across the organisation, who then support learners with SEND
* Lead on all transition points for learners with an Education and health care plan, working with Delivery Managers, Coaches, parents, carers
* Working with external and internal agencies to identify, plan and evaluate EHCP provision
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
* Experience of working with and supporting learners with EHCP
* Hold a SEND qualification, or willing to work towards
* Understand of the legislation, local and national guidance in relation to SEND and LDD
